Aperitivo Inspired: Glazed Meatballs
I like semi-homemade just as much as anyone else. This recipe is quick to prepare, delicious, and it does not require standing over the stove. Win-win!
Ingredients:
One bag (one pound/500grams) of frozen meatballs (choose what you like, beef/chicken/vegetable)
One small can of crushed pineapple(14 oz or 400ml) or One cup (240 ml) of pineapple juice
One Cup/270 ml of barbecue sauce
Two tablespoons double thick or dark soy sauce
One tablespoon sesame oil
one pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
Throw everything in the rice pot and turn it on. Cook for 30 minutes. Turn off the rice cooker and let the meatballs sit in the sauce for 10 minutes. Done.
